The Sungrow SBR is a high voltage modular Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery system offering a flexible capacity range from 6.4 kWh to 25.6 kWh and a high continuous charge/discharge current of 30A. This 12.8 kWh configuration (SBR128) uses 4 × 3.2 kWh modules, delivering up to 100% usable energy. With an IP55 rating and a 10-year warranty it provides safe, reliable indoor or outdoor energy storage for residential systems. By allowing up to 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD) you maximise the value of every kilowatt-hour stored ensuring minimal waste and maximum self-sufficiency. Its modular stacking design not only simplifies installation allowing for one-person handling of the 33 kg modules but also ensures the system can grow with your family's evolving energy demands providing a genuine path to energy independence.

High Voltage Efficiency and Advanced Safety

Operating within a high-voltage range of 108 V to 584 V the SBR system works seamlessly with Sungrow's hybrid inverters for efficient DC-coupled energy transfer. The core technology is the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) prismatic cell — renowned for its stability and safety. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors the cells to prevent operation outside specified limits. This safety-first design combined with passive cooling via natural convection ensures reliable silent and safe operation without the need for internal fans.

Versatile Installation and Seamless Integration

The IP55 rating and robust construction make the SBR suitable for a wide range of residential installations from garages to protected outdoor locations. The system is designed to communicate via CAN with compatible Sungrow hybrid inverters ensuring optimal charging and discharging performance. For larger homes or higher energy needs up to four SBR battery systems can be connected in parallel offering maximum scalability. All system data including the State of Charge (SOC) can be conveniently viewed and managed through the iSolarCloud App.

Temperature Range Optimal operation at 10°C–30°C. Operating limits: Charge (0°C–50°C) Discharge (-20°C–50°C).
Mounting Floor stand installation. Requires wall fixing of the top module for stability.
