What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
We collect your phone number so the freight carrier can contact you about delivery — solar panels and batteries ship on pallets and need someone present.
We do not collect your card number. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach our servers.
Who else handles your information
- Stripe — card payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe.
- PayPal — if you choose to pay with PayPal, you complete payment on PayPal's own site and return here.
- Google — the address lookup on our checkout uses the Google Places API. Your partial address is sent through our own server to Google to fetch suggestions.
- Meta — we use the Meta pixel to measure advertising. See our cookie notice.
- Freight carriers — we pass your name, address and phone number to the carrier delivering your order.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for at least five years, because Australian tax law requires us to retain records supporting a tax invoice.
Accessing or correcting your information
Email sales@solarsuperstore.com.au and we'll tell you what we hold about you, or correct it. There's no charge.
